Can I leave a suggestion for name? If so, here it is: Minnow. Its perfect because Minnows are a small, speedy fish that dolphin calves always remind me of. Good luck to Chessie!

It was so exciting seeing Chinook was the proud father too. I’m a frequent visitor of the Minnesota ZOo where Chinook used to live. He is a great dolphin and was a lot of fun to have around. We misshaving our sweet boy up here, but I’m very happy that he is getting along weel down there. I do have one question are you having a name contest for the calf???? I’d love to enter. Congrats

CONGRATS AQUA! I’m so glad that Chesapeake’s calf is thriving and well. I’ll be thinking about you guys, and I’ll be hoping that she stays in good health. Quick question: It said that this is Chessie’s 3rd calf…are the other two at the Aquarium right now? If so, what are their names? :)

I heard about the new baby dolphin on the news, can’t wait to come and see it! But I am more excited on the calf’s name I came up with an idea while sitting in front of my tv. What about Kiki (pronounced Keke)! I wasnt sure where to post my idea so I though I would start here and give it a try! I’ll keep an eye out for somewhere else to post my name but good luck with the new baby!
